Change will come to us; whether we are prepared for it or shocked when it comes our way. Some of the changes we deal with surprise us and take time for some adjustments. Knox is going through a huge change in October. Pastor Tim is retiring after 28 years of ministry service at Knox. Some in our congregation have recounted with me how they first met Tim when he came as lead pastor. Several members shared with me how his words and spiritual input helped to change the very course of their lives. Now the time has come for us to serve the pastor who served us spiritually for many years. So please pray fervently now for Tim and his family as they go through a major transition. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide them into other ways to serve our Lord and Savior. He needs some rest and to listen for God revealing His perfect will.

Knox has been through multiple changes since the pandemic first began. Pray that all of us, young and old, may continue to grow into faithful disciples. Trust in the Word of God and the Mission of our church to lead us into a bright future. Our youth have been studying how wisdom and knowledge are different. May the wisdom of God inculcate the deepest levels of the Bible studies, small groups, and Sunday classes we offer. Let the ‘light of lives so shine, that others may see our good works, and glorify our Father in heaven’.
