Thanks to everyone who came to visit, called me and all the wonderful get-well cards while I was recuperating after my accident. It brought a lot of joy at a hard time.

Pittsburgh Theological Seminary
Dear Rev. Waggoner and Knox family:
Thank you very much for your recent gift of $500 to Pittsburgh Seminary. Your financial partnership helps us to provide essential financial assistance for our growing student body, and enables us to deliver a high-quality theological education with relevant and practical preparation for ministries familiar and yet to unfold.
Seeking to participate in God’s ongoing mission in the world, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary is a community of Christ followers, joining in the Spirit’s work of forming and equipping people. We aspire to help communities gain the tools necessary to make the world a better place. Your gift enables our students, faculty and staff to continue to prepare for ministry in the way of Jesus.
Thank you again for your support in this important calling. Your donation helps greatly as we pursue our mission to be a generous and hospitable community of faith and learning. We are grateful that you have chosen to join us in this call!
Every blessing,
Dominick Oliver
Cru The Sullivans
Dear friends at Knox Presbyterian Church,
The biggest news since our last ministry update is we have added a new addition to our family! Deborah Joy Sullivan was born Friday, March 12. She is a welcomed gift and a joy to have as part of our family! We are so glad to have her, and she brings us much joy! Please be praying Deborah continues to grow healthy and strong and that God would give us the extra measure of grace needed to care well for a family of 6! (Deborah has three brothers.)
As far as ministry updates go, we wanted to share about a student leader Dylan has been mentoring named Jackson Daniel. This year, Dylan has been meeting with Jackson and another student about every other week to pray for each other, discuss ways they can grow in their relationship with God and encourage each other in following Christ. He is graduating this semester and Dylan asked him how Cru has impacted him.
This is what he had to say: “God used Cru to bring me closer to Him, closer to other believers, and closer to living a Spirit-filled life. I feel better equipped to share my faith and help others to do the same.”
Thank you for your faithful partnership with us and helping make Jackson’s story possible! Would you pray for him as he graduates and launches into the work force?
Sincerely,
The Sullivans

Your gift serves as a symbol of Christ’s love for all. You are truly a blessing.
On behalf of the residents, we thank your church and its members for your generous gift to the Aberdeen Village Good Samaritan Fund. Your kind support serves to bring peace and comfort to all of the residents at Aberdeen Village. For that, we are grateful. Across the PMMA communities, residents and staff come together as family to celebrate the gift of selfless love.
Once again, thank you for your desire to support the Good Samaritan Fund and the meaningful role you have in our mission.
Sincerely yours,

Greetings:
Please accept our deepest thanks for your most recent donation in the amount of $2,500 and the amount of $846 for guest lodging, for your host week beginning April 11.
With your faithful financial contributions, as well as the many years you have hosted our guest families overnight, you’ve demonstrated your commitment to our work here at IHN of providing shelter and empowering homeless families and single females in our community. There is no way to fully express our gratitude for your loyalty. We at IHN are continually inspired by the dedication and generosity of donors like you who answer the call to give again and again.
Simply put, if it wasn’t for faithful supporters like you, we wouldn’t exist. So thank you for providing the funds and the overnight facilities that we need to make a difference in the lives of the homeless right here in our own community.
We are deeply grateful for your support and hope that you will continue to partner with us in our mission to improve the lives of the homeless. Thank you for your donation.
Sincerely,
Vicki L. Dercher

Hello All,
Thanks so much for your continued support of these kids and their families! As a group working together, we are now distributing 120 boxes of food each week. I’d hoped the need would go down by now, but it continues to be higher.
Plans for the Summer Program which has been held for more than ten years has seen some significant changes this year because of COVID. We have a KCK school teacher leading the program, since she is familiar with COVID protocols and has worked with the summer program for several years. This year the program will only be Monday-Thursday, because we need to have Friday available to pack the food boxes for the Saturday distribution.
The kids will still get two meals a day and a snack. The program will still have the usual components: physical activity, nutrition education, an arts. The team was fortunate enough to get a grant to cover most of the kids’ meals, so we’re going to focus on meals for the instructors and snacks for the kids. (This year we won’t send home something for dinner, because they can get the weekly food boxes.)
A huge thank you for the continued help with these kids!
