This time of year, I like to be outdoors. Many people have shared with me over my years in ministry about how they enjoy the "church of the outdoors". Sometimes that is an excuse to go hunting or fishing instead of attending church. I disagree with that practice, but I fully understand the notion of experiencing God through nature. The apostle wrote to the church in Rome, "since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made..." (Romans 1:20). So, let's get outside and enjoy the creation and glorify the Creator!
I want to thank all the wonderful volunteers who made our VBS happen in June. It felt so good to finally do some in person ministry. What a great time we had sharing God's love with children! I look forward to much more ministry!
Yours joyfully,
Paul
